The exhibit consists of 40 original prints from her book, AM JAZZ Three Generations Under The Lens by Adriana Mateo. The book depicts a compilation of three jazz generations of the most prolific jazz musicians, some of whom are sadly no longer with us.
Limited signed copies of the book will be available for sale during the reception and also thru WBGO.
The WBGO Gallery is located at 54 Park Place in Newark, NJ. It's free and open to the public. WBGO is a wheelchair accessible facility.

Museum Palazzo della Penna , Via Podiani, 11 - Perugia / 1 July - 10 September 2017
On Friday, June 30, 2017, at 18.00, a large photographic exhibition entitled The Image of Sound will be inaugurated at the Palazzo della Penna Civic Museum. The event will feature photographs of a Perugia, which over the years has become the perfect setting for one of the most important music festivals in the world, Umbria Jazz.
The exhibition will contain about 400 images of more than 30 photographers who over the years have documented the most important jazz protagonists in the enchanting setting of the city. Through the halls of the Civic Museum, the viewer will immerse himself in a Perugia that lives and transforms through music, showing its monumental beauties and medieval views. The sound image. #jazzaperugia becomes the occasion to make a trip to the history of the most famous Umbrian music event through the viewpoint of great artists who have immortalized salient moments in city history.
As a corollary of the exhibition, numerous side events will be held that will complement the cultural offerings: you will then be able to attend musical appointments, meetings with experts and concerts.
The exhibition, set up until September 10, 2017, is organized by the Municipality of Perugia, with the collaboration of the Umbria Jazz Participation Fund, and curated by Angela Madesani.
